Josh Spurgers

I am an entertainment electrician and lighting designer by trade. I am a maker 24/7. My skills include woodworking, metalworking, photography, electronics prototyping, gardening, cooking, drafting, sewing, and just "making" in general. My factorite thing about working in the arts is that I can utilize all of my skills on a regular basis.

I dropped out of my fourth year of mechanical engineering college after discovering I had colon cancer. After some uncertainty, I landed in theater. I'm now a full-time lighting designer and electrician in the arts, and learn as many skills as I can in my off time.
